Description
This elegant yellow, gold, and black mix lariat necklace with matching polymer clay beads is a true statement piece. For this piece I used a mix of yellow, gold, and black Czech seed beads. Large polymer clay beads complement them perfectly. I designed custom beads just for this peace, to complement the colors of seed bead mix. Two coats of varnish add the shine necessary to match the shimmer of seed beads. Thus, this necklace is a marriage of two types of media and two techniques I love – bead crochet and polymer clay.
What is a Lariat?
Lariats are versatile necklaces made from a single chain or strand of material, twisted together on the wearer’s front, rather than clipped together at the back. This unique, one-of-a-kind lariat necklace is also called a transformer because it can be tied around the neck in a variety of knots and styles. The end pieces can be removed and the necklace can be tied or knotted, depending on your taste and clothes.
One can wear these unique pieces in a number of different ways to match a wide variety of clothing and occasions.
