This elegant shimmering light purple lariat necklace with glass beads beads is a true statement piece. Shimmering glass beads and amethyst-dyed freshwater pearls used for the ends set off the light sparkle of the seed beads.
It’s a very long necklace, longer than my other pieces. You can wear it folded in half and knotted in the front, as photos demonstrate (see the one with the torso.)
What is a Lariat?
Lariats are versatile necklaces made from a single chain or strand of material, twisted together on the wearer’s front, rather than clipped together at the back. This unique, one-of-a-kind lariat necklace is also called a transformer because it can be tied around the neck in a variety of knots and styles. The end pieces can be removed and the necklace can be tied or knotted, depending on your taste and clothes.
One can wear these unique pieces in a number of different ways to match a wide variety of clothing and occasions.

I use bead crochet technique for my lariat necklaces. All pieces are unique, hand-strung of hundreds and hundreds of seed beads, hand-crocheted, and exclusive of decoration. Whether you’re buying a ready piece or order something to suit your taste, you can be sure it will be one of a kind!
Bead crochet pieces take a lot of time to make. I keep some variety in stock. However, ideally they need to be custom-made. Are you looking for a different color, style, or even length? I will be happy to make the perfect piece just for you.

You can purchase this lariat necklace with a matching bracelet, a pair of earrings, and – as a free bonus! – a little necklace. Though they will look spectacular as a set, you can also purchase the lariat alone, if you wish. The bracelet and earrings, however, are offered at a discount price, but currently sold only as part of the set.
