Unlike some artists or designers, I welcome custom orders. I love them. No matter how hard I try to come up with new shapes, color schemes, new applications for my craft, my customers never seize to surprise me with their ideas.

When I make a custom order, I first try to determine what exactly the customer wants. You can describe the piece to me, raw it, if you an – and actually, if you can’t; we’ve done that, too, somebody really tried – show something similar, bring a piece of clothing to match the color… Anything that will help me understand what you want.
I show my clients photos of different stages of work process so they know how their orders are progressing and can make adjustments along the way. It also helps us avoid misunderstandings and unpleasant surprises. However well you may know what you want, sometimes reality is not quite what you envisioned. Custom orders do evolve sometimes…
