Interview and Clay Mezuzah Workshop at Shtot Fun Meysterz

Interview and clay Mezuzah workshop recorded for Shtot fun Meysterz online series

This interview and the following clay Mezuzah workshop were recorded for Shtot Fun Meysterz series run by Center Makor, a Jewish educational and cultural center in Brookline, MA.

Shtot Fun Meysterz in Yiddish means City of Masters. City of Masters is a new online series featuring interviews and workshops with artists and artisans of all trades from our community and beyond.

This masterclass is my first attempt at video recording. I created it at Center Makor’s suggestion specifically for the interview. In it I will show you how to make your very own and unique Mezuzah box. I picked fun and easy technique that can be mastered by anyone and does not require any complicated tools or instruments.

Do it together with me, do it like me, do it better than me! Good Luck!

For children’s convenience, the class is in English. However, the introduction is in Russian. If you don’t know Russian or just want to skip the interview and go straight to the workshop, just start at 15:55.

Contact me with any questions you might have on the masterclass!

You don’t have to make a Mezuzah box. Using this technique, you can decorate anything you want. Please send me a picture of your craft to info@claywithstyle.com. I love to see my students’ work!

And please view other Judaica items I have in my store.
